My name is Javed. I am an actuary and a management consultant who graduated from the London School of Economics, and who worked for the largest FTSE100 and FTSE250 organisations in various capacities, leading and delivering complex projects. I have over 10 years of experience of managing, leading and advising businesses and have a range of expertise from sophisticated financial, economic, mathematical modelling and business analysis skills, to advising on strategy, risk management, operations along with innovation and technology. I am also a director of various businesses ventures - one of which is CLENSO.
I have always loved health and fitness (though lately don't get much time for this, thanks to CLENSO). It doesn't stop at the gym or sports, I also have a passion for natural remedies. Yes, I avoid medications when I can and treat lots of common illnesses using nature's medicine - like gargling with warm salt water for sore throat (salt water can be replaced with vinegar and/or cayenne pepper), having lots of vitamin C (think lemons) and honey combined with ginger and garlic teas for cold and flu and so on. I like to have bicarbonate soda (baking soda) for an upset stomach or having lemon with an empty stomach to detox the body and help fat loss. Lemon, lemon, lemon. Among various other amazing gifts of nature, lemon is right up there for me - it would be for you too by now if you have read about the countless benefits of lemon on our website.
Anyway, I also tend to avoid using chemicals for cleaning. You see where I am going with this. I use lemon often to clean limescale in my flat from appliances and in the bathroom, etc. Though, always felt like a chore so I wished there was something that cleaned limescale automatically. As time passed, my boiler broke down. Over £2,000 of unexpected and un-welcomed expense and worse of all, the engineer told me this was due to limescale build up and lack of regular maintenance (oops, my bad I guess). It was at this time it just clicked - why isn't there a device that simply adds the gift of lemon to our water supply. We can drink it when we want, use it for our hair and skin (oh, loads of benefits there too) by just opening the tap and say bye to limescale by just using the same water that creates it. The lemon water would automatically remove limescale without any need to clean - oh wow. And the same lemon water would flow through all the internal pipes and appliances of the house, including the boiler - again automatically help their maintenance. And the list of benefit continued. So since there wasn't anything like it on the market, I wondered if we should consider developing such a device.
I discussed this idea with Valeriya, one of my closest and most trusted friends. She is also a health, beauty and fitness geek (even more so than me in some ways). She seemed even more excited than me about it. And that was the day our journey for CLENSO began. Now, after one and a half year of hard work and input from lots of experts, we present to you CLENSO. We have put our mind and soul into it, and genuinely believe this is our positive contribution to this world, to our lives, to you.
